DETAILS: The first of three paintings by fine artist Len Tantillo that were commissioned by Historic Huguenot Sreet, “The Huguenot Redoubt, c. 1685” is now on display at the historic site’s DuBois Fort Visitors Center. The work enhances the museum’s interpretations and aids visitors in understanding what the street has looked like over different times in history. Based on decades of archaeological research conducted on the grounds of Huguenot Street, Tantillo’s paintings will transform the museum’s interpretation of periods without pictorial representations.
